Westonbirt School and I have maintained a longstanding partnership built on collaboration, trust, and a shared commitment to showcasing the school’s educational excellence. Over time, this relationship has allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the school’s values, culture, and aspirations, enabling a consistent and authentic visual narrative across a wide range of projects.Together, we have engaged in a diverse array of multi-domain activities designed to highlight both the breadth of the school’s offerings and the achievements of its students. This has included capturing the energy and dedication of sports teams in action, both on and off the field; documenting theatrical productions that celebrate creativity, teamwork, and performance; and creating imagery that reflects the dynamism and engagement of classroom learning. More recently, our collaboration has extended into the development of a new advertising campaign aimed at attracting prospective students. This project was particularly engaging, as it involved translating creative concepts into compelling visual content and seeing them evolve from initial ideas into polished assets ready for digital platforms, social media, and print. Being involved in this full creative journey - from concept development to final delivery - has been both professionally rewarding and creatively inspiring, reinforcing the value of strong collaboration and thoughtful visual storytelling.

Equine Portraits
Over the past couple of months, I’ve had the exciting opportunity to take part in a number of equine photoshoots, allowing me to explore a whole new and creative side of portrait photography. Working with horses has been both a challenge and a joy, pushing me to step outside my comfort zone and think differently behind the camera. These shoots have given me valuable insight not only into the technical side of photography, but also into the art of handling both horse and model. Learning how to communicate clearly, stay adaptable and work patiently in an ever-changing environment has been incredibly rewarding. Each session has helped me refine my approach, build confidence and capture some truly stunning images that I’m proud to add to my portfolio.Beyond the learning experience, this process has been genuinely fun. Experimenting with a subject that’s new and dynamic has reignited my creativity and reminded me why I love photography - embracing new challenges, telling unique stories, and creating imagery that feels fresh, expressive, and full of life.

Exploring the cosplay scene
As an extension of my collaborative work with Flo and her team, I began exploring the opportunities within cosplay portraiture. Building on my growing confidence and social media presence, I was contacted by Rob, who proposed a collaboration showcasing his impressive portrayal of Aragorn from The Lord of the Rings books.By combining my photography skills with Rob’s extensive knowledge of the local area, we spent several hours working together to capture a series of truly striking and cinematic images. The collaboration allowed us to create artwork that felt immersive, atmospheric, and faithful to the character, resulting in a body of work I am proud to share.This experience further developed my ability to plan shoots around character, setting, and storytelling, while also strengthening my collaborative skills. Working closely with a passionate cosplayer reinforced the importance of creative synergy and attention to detail, and it has encouraged me to continue exploring cosplay portraiture as a powerful and expressive form of visual storytelling.
